It had been a while since I did any cake decorating so last week I sent out a call for inspiration on facebook. A Girl Scout friend suggested doing a birthday cake for a mutual friend, who happens to be an Adventure Team facilitator (translation: she likes to climb towers and zip line off of them). What better way to celebrate an "over the hill" birthday than this?
